Chapter 51 Evil Disciples and Traitors
Chapter 51 Evil Disciples and Traitors
These crystals in the Lonely Fortress can even compress and store massive amounts of information in an extremely small volume, which Kryptonians can read simply by touching them correctly.
Kara was wiping away tears as she handed out the crystals containing the decompressed data to Joey one by one. She was only a little younger than Joey was now when she set off for Earth, and she was already very familiar with everything about Krypton.
Although she knew that looking at them again would only add to her sadness, Kara couldn't help but glance at each one before reluctantly handing them to Joey.
With just a gentle squeeze and a focused mind, Joey could instantly conjure up information and memories about Krypton, as if he were actually there.
Although Joey didn't know why he could communicate with Kara in Kryptonian language, he was essentially still a Kryptonian illiterate. After reading this part, he realized that the name Kal'el seemed to mean "Child of the Stars" in some contexts.
Joey gained a general understanding of the Kryptonian social structure, including their Technology Council, Warrior Guild, the Kryptonians' previous worship of their sun god Raoh, and dozens of other administrative factions and family structures.
Joey skimmed over Krypton's geographical distribution and biota, but the only thing that really interested him was an archipelago on Krypton that produced a plant called "Jonni." Kryptonians would use the dried leaves of this plant to make tea or smoke it like cigarettes, which seemed a bit familiar.
Krypton's records of contact with the outside world contain much that Joey is familiar with, such as the inhabitants of Senagon, a planet with eagle heads and human bodies, wings on their backs, and a rough and savage culture; the distant planet Tamaran; the dangerous planet Apokolips; and the extremely dangerous Blainek...
"Hey Joey, snap out of it!"
Kara, who had been examining the other memory crystals, stopped looking and gently tugged at the tuft of curly hair on Joey's forehead, waking him from his crystal-reading state:
"A word of advice: farming memory crystals too much will make you stupid!"
Joey finally snapped out of that incredibly captivating immersion, but at that moment he couldn't care less about things like, "Switch too much and it'll affect your brain."
"Is there a technology component?"
"Most of these are."
Kara scooped up a large bunch of red crystals she was holding and brought them towards Joey:
"Didn't you notice that more than ten minutes have passed since you were looking at those crystals that contained relatively little information? By the time you finish looking at them, it might be dawn."
"It doesn't matter, there's nothing to do tonight anyway."
Joey needed to find a technological solution to the climate problem on Paradise Island from Krypton's technology. The Amazons were complaining to Diana about their inability to adapt to the extreme Arctic climate and refused to leave the British Isles.
The sharp-eyed Joey noticed that two of the crystals Kara had poured out for him were no longer shining, so he picked them out: "Are these two broken?"
Carla snatched the crystal and used the universally accepted 45-degree angled tapping repair method, but to no avail. He could only float his body and place it back into the data control console.
"There might have been an error when pushing the data. Please wait a moment while the CPU checks the data integrity."
Joey nodded after hearing this. He then focused on finding information in the pile of documents that might solve his problem with the time-space watch, and also looked for solutions from the Amazons.
Kara watched as Joey, who was focused on studying Kryptonian technology and showed little interest in Kryptonian culture and customs, sighed almost imperceptibly, and flew away from the fortress.

Abin Su, piloting the spaceship, could already see with the naked eye the faint light emanating from the yellow star in the distant deep space belonging to the solar system. Before long, he would be able to cross the Kuiper Belt and enter Neptune's orbital range.
The greatest Green Lantern is ready to reconnect with Cyborg. He is prepared to be frank with Cyborg, tell him his purpose for being there, and seek cooperation without abandoning Earth.
Speak of the devil, and he appears; Cyborg has already contacted me and sent me some very high-resolution images:
"By the way, Green Lantern, since you're a space police officer, do you know any alien race that looks like humans but can fly, is incredibly strong, invulnerable to weapons, and can shoot high-energy lasers from their eyes?"
Before he could even glance at the picture, Abin Sue was already sweating profusely just listening to Cyborg's description. Looking at the photo again, he saw the large "S" on the figure's chest, which caused the usually mild-mannered Abin Sue to swear for the second time.
"F**k! Cyborg, how come there's an Aiur family Krypton in your galaxy...?"
Boom!
The attack from afar arrived in an instant, destroying Green Lantern's spaceship in a flash.
The green light ring on Abin Sue's hand activated automatically, and a layer of luminous green energy field covered his entire body, protecting his mortal body from surviving in the vacuum of space.
He used his Green Lantern Ring to conjure a massive shield to defend against the opponent's second impact, then created a mirror to reflect the opponent's heat vision, followed by a green simulated Kryptonite net in an attempt to control the attacking Kryptonian.
The power of the Green Lantern ring comes from the wearer's willpower and imagination, and Abin Sue is the greatest one in the Green Lantern Corps. His willpower is incredibly strong, and his imagination is boundless. He is confident that he can take down this Kryptonian.
Just as the oath of the Lamp says—Evil people and treacherous parties, fear the light of my God!
But a moment later, he only felt a red afterimage flash past him, and then Abin Su felt the air in his lungs being squeezed into a vacuum, and the cold of outer space seeping into his bones.
With his last ounce of strength, he looked at his finger and discovered that the green light ring he wore was nowhere to be found.
In the original universe, he was supposed to crash on Earth with his spaceship, passing on his Green Lantern ring to the next generation of "the greatest Green Lantern in history," the Earthling Hal Jordan.
In this universe, Abin Sue escaped the fate of crashing on Earth for the first time, but ultimately could not escape death.
In the dark depths of space, the figure draped in a red cloak gently crushed the green lantern ring in their hand, shattering it to pieces, leaving behind only a whispered message unheard by anyone:
"A word of advice: Don't use thought-based weapons against a Kryptonian who is a hundred times faster than your thoughts if you can't think fast enough."
