Chapter 157: …Closer To The End?
Chapter 157: …Closer To The End?
Jason was done with Clementine, he didn’t bust but he enjoyed the sensation of Clementine squeezing his balls.
They didn’t do anything else and had a normal bath after that as Clementine kept her distance,
She liked that Jason was all riled up when he was around her but which man wouldn’t in this situation? Clementine knew it would take time for Jason to be able to say no because as long as he could not do so, his strength could easily become a weakness.
It wasn’t anything special but Clementine knew she had to eventually stop giving him access to her in this way.
She was giving him the wrong impression that she was interested when she wasn’t, all this was Clementine training and conditioning, Jason.
"Jason, I think that was out of line on my end. I’m sorry," Clementine apologized, trying her best to reestablish the boundaries that came with the typical man-and-woman relationship.
"What are you apologizing for? It wasn’t so bad," Jason said but he was surprised to see Clementine getting out of the water.
He couldn’t help but admire her behind, he wondered how his dick would feel between those legs of hers.
"We can’t keep doing this, Jason," Clementine said and this confused him as he thought that they were having a moment.
"I will be heading back first, see you later," Clementine got dressed and left Jason to soak with his thoughts in the water.
"Did I do something wrong?" Jason thought to himself but he didn’t care much about this.
He wanted to be done with this and leave the area as soon as possible.
Jason wasn’t comfortable in this place and something told him that if they ventured forth, the zombies that they would face would be a lot more different than the ones that they had seen thus far.
Jason didn’t know how many fragments there were or how many zombies had consumed them but something told him that this was just the beginning.
But what was on his mind most of all was what Rachel was doing. Jason couldn’t wait to see her again but he had to focus on the task at hand.
"I should probably get out," Jason thought to himself as he began to walk out of the water but he felt something grab his ankle.
"Huh?" Jason muttered, looking back to see what it was that had grabbed him and to his surprise, it was a zombie. Jason sighed, why couldn’t he have time to himself without running into one of these things?
It was clear that this zombie had been underwater for quite some time due to the texture of its skin alongside the boated nature of the zombie.
Jason said; because if this was when the apocalypse first started then maybe he would have been scared but right now, he wasn’t.
Jason kicked the zombie off him before crushing its head beneath his feet and this sent it back into the water, it was clear that this zombie had lost the ability to walk so it made it easy pickings.
"I wonder how long you have been here," Jason muttered to himself as he dressed and made his way back to the camp.
However, this wasn’t all as multiple zombies could be seen on the other side of the water body and they had every intention of crossing.
-
Anderson and his crew arrived at the base, they expected to be met by a wave of zombies but they couldn’t believe that there were none.
The burning building, even though the flames had died down, was still very much burning.
They wondered what had happened here and if Sam had even survived.
"There is no way..." Anderson muttered but a voice called out to him the moment he did.
"It took you long enough," Sam called out and Anderson’s head immediately jerked in his direction and saw Sam.
Sam had laid multiple corpses on top of one another to serve as a chair for him to rest his tired legs.
Everyone at that moment was very tense because they didn’t know what to think of this and if Sam even held up his end of the bargain.
Anderson could sense his men were panicking and knew that the smart choice would be killing Sam right here and now but his gut feeling told him that this was a lot easier said than done.
"Your doctor is down there," Sam said, pointing to the building he had just exited.
Anderson knew he had to stay outside with Sam and gestured for his men to go retrieve the doctor and that was if Sam was telling the truth.
A very big if but Sam didn’t mind this, they would be stupid not to keep a close eye on him.
"H-How did you do it?" One of Anderson’s men couldn’t resist the urge to ask the question but Sam raised an eyebrow the moment he spoke before looking at Anderson.
"You don’t train your dogs to speak only when spoken to?" Sam was flat-out disrespectful and this ticked off the man that had asked the question.
"Why you-!" Before he could escalate the situation, Anderson raised a hand to silence him.
The man shut his mouth immediately but the look in his eyes, he didn’t like Sam.
"That’s a good boy," Sam teased with a grin as he got up.
He knew what this was, he had every intention of getting a reaction out of the man because if he made one mistake, Sam was ready to take his life.
Everyone was scared of him because they began to question if he was even a human at this point.
Sam walked towards Anderson and the men who were supposed to protect him knew that if they moved, they may very well forfeit their lives.
"Anderson, I hope you will understand the state I have left your doctor in. I have no idea what he has been doing but I have made sure something like this can never happen again," The moment Sam said this, the men that had entered inside were coming out with the unconscious doctor over one of their backs.
They were in a hurry and this showed that he was in a dire state, Anderson caught a glimpse of the doctor and his fist tightened.
He didn’t know why Sam thought it would be appropriate to take away a doctor’s only tool and that was his hands.
"You’re welcome," Sam said with a smile, slapping Anderson across the back and this was where the man lost it.
Anderson raised his pistol and placed it right at Sam’s head, shocking everyone.
Sam might have just taken humanity’s last chance at finding a cure away from them.
Sam didn’t flinch, he looked Anderson right in the eyes and at that moment, Anderson knew he made a mistake.
He tried to pull the trigger but his fingers began to tremble, this was for one reason alone and that was fear.
"You can’t?" Sam questioned and before Anderson knew it, Sam had snatched the gun from his hand and fired a shot right into the head of the man that had questioned him earlier.
Everyone raised their gun and pointed it at Sam.
"That is how you take a life," Sam said right before handing Anderson back his gun.
Anderson knew that he made a deal with the devil but he didn’t know that Sam was this extreme.
"Now that I have taught you manners as well as retrieved your doctor... You owe me something, Anderson" No one understood how Sam was calm with so many guns pointed at him.
Anderson gestured for them to lower their guns and they obeyed even though they wanted to shoot a barrage of bullets into Sam’s body.
Anderson knew they needed Sam if they could somehow get Sam to join them, that would prove to be a major boost in their ranks.
Sam could teach them how to fight, he could teach them to do what he had just done.
There were no downsides to this and Anderson was willing to achieve this even if it meant kissing Sam’s ass.
"I apologize, my emotions got the better of me," Anderson said, bowing his head slightly and this gesture showed that he saw Sam as a superior.
A simple yet effective method to show submission without verbally saying so, everyone was both shocked and disgusted by what they were seeing.
"Anderson, I understand and I don’t intend to leave you without a doctor either," Sam said and Anderson raised a brow to this.
"What do you mean?" Anderson asked, to which Sam grinned as his lips parted.
"This doctor is a knockoff, how about we work together and find the real deal," Sam said and he had everyone’s attention.
"Let’s go find the man that started it all," Sam said and just like that, an alliance was formed.
Even though it was fragile, this would have to do for now.
